I don't have to tell you that a lot goes into designing your wedding invitations. Aside from the obvious of wanting them to be perfect, and the seemingly limitless options available, there's also a slew of other events leading up to the big day that require RSVPs. And let's not forget about the wedding website! It's enough to make your head spin.
We had our wedding invitations custom designed by a local artist {see below}. I wanted something very specific created, that I knew I would not be able to find through any other outlet. Custom designed invites by an individual are one option when selecting your wedding stationary. I loved the flexibility and creativity it allowed.

Another option is ordering invitations and other wedding stationary through an online website. A really cool company that I've enjoyed using is Basic Invite. They specialize in custom invitations {see below} and free wedding websites. With unlimited color options on every element of the invite/envelope, instant previews, custom samples and free addressing services, the whole experience is completely customizable. Their classic wedding invitation line is my personal favorite featuring a large assortment of timeless designs. They also offer invitations for all of the special events leading up to the wedding day. Basic Invite's assortment, value and ease of use will take the stress out of this one major wedding to-do.
